Help streamline your social and content plan with these 5 cool tools.
1. Hootsuite
Hootsuite is a free (basic plan) social media management tool for small businesses. It allows you to schedule and post content across multiple social networks and keep track of and manage your social channels. Hootsuite Analytics lets you create custom reports and click summaries for all your feeds. You might want to check out HootSuite Pro and HootSuite Business plans for more advanced options.
2. Feedly
Feedly collates popular content from your favourite sources for easy content curation and integrates with social media management tools (for example, Buffer, SproutSocial and Hootsuite) for easy sharing across multiple networks. It can also be added to your browser and iOS and Android mobile devices.
3. Pocket
Pocket lets you bookmark your favourite content all in one place. It allows you to easily find your saved articles at a later date, lets you search, explore and discover popular content, and recommends stories based on your past saves. You can access Pocket from Windows or Mac (don’t forget to add the extension to your browser), iOS and Android devices.
4. Grammarly
Grammarly is a spelling and grammar checking tool, and it’s free to use the basic features. Add the extension to your browser and Grammarly will check your text on Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, and almost everywhere else on the web. There is also the option to sign up for a monthly prescription to access features such as plagiarism checks and professional proofreading. Grammarly defaults to American/English. If you’re in the UK, remember to set your profile to British/English.
5. Editorr
Editorr is a professional pay-as-you-go proofreading service. It’s available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and your first 100 words are free, giving you the option to try-before-you-buy. There’s no commitment, and your text is dispatched and picked up by one of the editing team as soon as you submit it. Your dedicated editor is on hand for up to 72 hours after you’ve sent and received your checked text. You can access Editorr on the web, iOS, or Android app.
